Collection of materials gathered for the writing of Pride and Promise: A Centennial History of East Stroudsburg University (1993), a history of the university written by Lawrence Squeri, Neil Hogan, and Peter Nevins. Materials referenced for the book includes original university records, as well as facsimile copies and other publications, correspondence, news clippings, maps, catalogs, and more. In addition, the authors conducted dozens of oral history interviews with former ESU students, faculty, staff, and administrators, in addition to local community leaders. This collection contains transcripts for these interviews, most of which were conducted by Lawrence Squeri.
